It’s not a surprise that Christmas is just around the corner! But, have you ever considered who Chistmas is really about?
How did a global following get started with a baby born in an obscure village some 2000 years ago?
The talk you are invited to will help guide us toward considering a question:
What does it mean to be a Christian?
- Is it about following rules?
- Or about going to church?
- Or just because we were born in America, does that make us Christians?
- And what exactly does Christmas have to do with being a Christian?
I hope you will take the time to come to the 4:00 meeting at St. James on December 7. All are welcome to listen, discusss, and then stay for some simple food – Chili, breads and cookies.
