Rev. Ken Prater serves as Pastor of Saint James Bible Fellowship in Fort Edward, New York. With over 35 years of ministry experience at Durkeetown Baptist Church, he has devoted his life to faithfully shepherding congregations through pastoral care, preaching, and evangelism. His ministry is marked by a deep commitment to the Word of God and a passion for sharing the gospel both within the church and throughout the community. In addition to his pastoral work, he has traveled extensively to support missionary efforts in Canada, Iceland, France, Germany, Hungary, and Russia.
He and his wife of 45 years, Rhonda Prater, are blessed with two sons: Lt. Col. Jesse Prater, USAF, and Zachary Prater and his wife, Katie. They also delight in the joy of four grandchildren, who are a treasured part of their family life.
